What is a baby sitter?

A baby sitter is someone who usually comes to your home to look after your child/ren whilst you are out. This is usually in the evening, but arrangements can be made for day time babysitting.

Baby sitting can also be arranged for venues like hotels for weddings etc.

Heavenly Childcare babysitters go through the same rigorous vetting procedures as all our childcare professionals. They are all enhanced CRB checked, they are interviewed and two references are checked. We also advise them to train for the early year’s first aid certificate and a take babysitting course. Our baby sitters are all over 18 yrs.

There are other sites that advertise their services for free. However, they also say they do not check the baby sitters in any way and this is up to the parents. Of course you can make your own checks, but remember private individuals cannot apply for CRB checks.

Please book well in advance as babysitters are difficult to find at short notice.
