Course over view:

Part of being a good babysitter is being aware of, avoiding and dealing with challenging situations. In order to do this effectively, a young person needs knowledge and skills combined with esteem, willingness and confidence. This course is designed to encourage young people who are likely to be looking after other people’s children to consider basic home safety and to develop the social, first aid and childcare skills that may be required while babysitting.

Accreditation:

By completing this course students may receive a voucher of attendance or a certificate which recognises their achievement. It is also possible to accredit the student’s achievements through other routes such as the youth achievement awards or Duke of Edinburgh Award.
